Update to the Validity Period of Linux Foundation Certifications

Today, we would like to highlight an important change regarding the validity period of Linux Foundation certifications, which will come into effect on April 1, 2024.
Effective from the aforementioned date, the validity period for all Linux Foundation certifications will be reduced from the previous 36 months to 24 months. This change affects
What Does this Mean for You?
For IT professionals planning to obtain their CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification under the current policy, it is advisable to complete the exam before the change. This ensures that your certification remains valid for the longer period of 36 months. Furthermore, we recommend planning exam dates to allow sufficient time for a potential retake before the new policy comes into effect.
