Why FullStackS CARE?
With FullStackS CARE / SUSE RANCHER, we provide a forward-looking service that focuses on the continuous development of your SUSE RANCHER platform.
In the past year, we have implemented a variety of container and Kubernetes projects for and with our customers. It became increasingly clear:

Together with our manufacturing partners and their Enterprise Subscriptions, our consulting and architecture expertise, we provide this to all our customers via our first proprietary product “FullStackS CARE / SUSE RANCHER.”
What’s Included?
Regular Tech-Update Sessions

Quarterly Tech-Update Session on SUSE Rancher and Kubernetes with news, changes, roadmap and visions as well as current focus topics of the SUSE Rancher ecosystem. This technical appointment with individually created presentation offers room for discussion as well as Q&A. As a customer, you will then receive the presentation and the summary of the appointment as a PDF report.
Retro
Semi-annual, retrospective review of the last period to identify and highlight potential for improvement. The focus is not only on technical topics, but also on organizational measures and the ongoing cooperation to enable “DevOps at Scale.”

Advisories and Architectural Reviews

On-demand provision of current security advisories, information on current and new versions for SUSE Rancher and Kubernetes with summary and recommendation for action. Validated information and versions, which were pre-validated in the corresponding support range in the FullStackS laboratory.
Best-Practice and Participation
FullStackS CARE customers receive on-demand findings and best practices from the complete installation base

Regular Health-Checks

Semi-annual health checks with the following scope:
Pre-Validated Software Updates
Quarterly software updates for SUSE Rancher and downstream clusters (SUSE Rancher Management Server and Kubernetes versions of the downstream cluster nodes). All updates are “pre-validated” by FullStacks. This means that they have been checked for compatibility and update/upgrade path.
Each update follows a regulated process, consisting of:
In addition, all components are updated in the recommended order (including decay and settling phase).
Optionally, the VM/Node-OS for the following Linux distributions can be:
included in the maintenance contract and also updated quarterly.

Coordination of all Manufacturer Cases

On-demand coordination and management of manufacturer support cases via SUSE Customer Center (SCC). FullStackS takes over the complete communication and troubleshooting for the customer with the manufacturer partner.
Conditionally valid SUSE Support Subscription for SUSE Rancher Management Server and Nodes.
Shared Slack Channel with Designated Engineer (8×5 ; Q&A)
Nomination of a Designated Engineer for the customer, who serves as the main contact person for the customer’s SUSE Rancher environment.
Setting up and providing a Slack Connect for direct messages and questions from the customer to FullStackS during normal business hours (Q&A – without SLA).
