In February 2026, FULLSTACKS will look back on five years of corporate history. What was founded in Vienna in December 2020 and officially launched in February 2021 is now 3 companies in the D-A-CH region.
The founding coincided with a phase of profound uncertainty. Pandemic, lockdowns, and full remote work characterized the start. Nevertheless, the ambition was clear from the beginning: companies in regulated and business-critical environments need platforms that are stable, secure, and sustainable in the long term.
The idea for FULLSTACKS emerged in 2020 when Philipp Kainz and Sebastian Mangelkramer were working on technological challenges for which existing market offerings provided no satisfactory answers. Both were convinced that the time had come to take responsibility themselves and build solutions that permanently combine innovation and security.

Building under Real-World Conditions
The setup was done by two people, completely remotely and without an existing organization. Decisions had to be made, supported, and implemented. Quality, reliability, and leadership were operational necessities from the start.
A formative milestone was the hiring of the first employee. From that moment on, it was no longer just about technology, but about structures, responsibility, and trust. This early phase shaped the company’s character sustainably.
An Integrated Corporate Group
Today, FULLSTACKS operates as an integrated group with three companies:
All units operate according to the same principles and with identical performance standards. The group is managed uniformly and acts as one company across national borders.
